The Alberta Youth Soccer League (AYSL) is an initiative of the Alberta Soccer Association in partnership with our District Members. The Alberta Soccer Association has agreed to a governance structure that will allow Alberta Soccer to retain control of the oversight of the AYSL but allow the Districts and Clubs to be the primary operators of the league. We have partnered the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA) and Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) on providing league operation services as we launch the league.
The Operations Committee and Technical Advisory Committee will report to the Governance Committee on the day-to-day operations, rules and technical standards of the league with a view towards improving the league ahead of each operational year and the Canada Soccer technical standards will be adhered too by all clubs participating in the league.
All NYCL License holders and AYSL participants are subject to the Governance Policies of Canada Soccer, Alberta Soccer and their respective home districts.
AYSL Committee Responsibilities and Structure
The Governance Committee will approve the AYSL Operating Rules prior to each league year and the Canada Soccer technical standards will be adhered too by all clubs participating in the league.
