HISTORY
The SPDSA was incorporated in 1976, operating from Sherwood Park in the County of Strathcona in Alberta. SPDSA offers soccer programs at Community, Competitive and Performance Levels of play for both youth and adults. We are committed to ensuring that the sport of soccer continues to thrive in Sherwood Park by promoting the game that can be played by all ages for enjoyment as a means of sustaining health and wellness from “Cradle to Grave”! Sherwood Park is well known for developing exceptional players and even better human beings both on and off the field. We are proud holders of the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licence and believe in all of the principles and standards that it affords

MISSION: The Sherwood Park District Soccer Association is committed to providing its members with the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive soccer leagues by teaching and demonstrating soccer skills, sportsmanship, honesty, respect, and fair play. The SPDSA promotes the game of soccer in a safe environment where our members can not only excel in their soccer skills but may also learn the importance of physical fitness in their lives.
